Email, post, and who we are
Dunara publishes one channel for everything — reservations, the residences, events, membership, press, suppliers and complaints. It is read by people on the estate rather than by an agency, which is why it is the only one.
Write in English, German, Italian, Spanish or Portuguese; a host replies in the language you used. Put a date in the subject line if the enquiry is about a stay and it reaches reservations first. For anything to do with a residence, write residences in the subject line.

Getting here
The road, the airport, the transfer and the car park
Melides sits on the Alentejo coast between the lagoon and the sea. The estate is signed from the Melides–Carvalhal road and the last stretch is sand, which is worth knowing before you choose a car.
125 km, about ninety minutes. Leave Lisbon south over the Ponte 25 de Abril and stay on the A2 past Setúbal and Alcácer do Sal. Leave the A2 at the Grândola junction and take the road west toward Melides — about twenty-five minutes of cork oak and eucalyptus, with the Melides lagoon ahead of you as you drop toward the coast.
At Melides, follow the signed Melides–Carvalhal road north for 6 km. The Dunara gate is on the seaward side, marked by a single board-marked concrete pier and nothing else; it is deliberately quiet from the road.
From the gate the drive is 1.4 km of compacted sand through the pines, with two passing places and a 20 km/h limit. It carries an ordinary car in any weather. A low-slung sports car will want to take it slowly over the two cattle grids.
Coming from the Algarve, the same A2 runs north: leave at Grândola and the last part is identical.
Lisbon, Humberto Delgado (LIS) — 130 km, about ninety-five minutes by the route above. It is the practical arrival for every long-haul and almost every European connection, and the one the estate's transfer is priced against.
Faro (FAO) — 230 km, about two hours and forty minutes north on the A2. Worth it only if the fare or the timing is clearly better, or if Dunara is the second half of an Algarve trip.
Beja has a runway and occasional traffic; it is 115 km east of the estate. If you are arriving there, say so in your enquiry and the transfer is quoted for that road instead.
The estate transfer from Lisbon airport is €280 return for one car taking up to three guests and three cases, both directions, on the published rate. A second car for a larger party is the same €280. It is a line item in the stay planner, so it appears on your confirmation rather than being arranged on the day.
A one-way leg is €160. A collection from central Lisbon rather than the airport is the same price.
By rail: the Alentejo line serves Grândola station, 26 km from the gate. Tell reservations the train and an estate car meets it; that leg is €65 each way. The last 26 km is served by the estate car, which is why it is published with a price rather than left as a suggestion.
Within the estate, a car runs to the beach boardwalk and back through the day, and bicycles are included with every suite. Neither needs booking.
64 spaces on compacted sand under the pines, 120 m from the arrival court, included with every stay. Luggage is taken from the car at the court itself, so you park after you have put your bags down rather than before.
Eight 22 kW charge points, two of them double-headed, on the north side of the car park. Charging is included; the estate asks only that you move the car once it is done, because eight is enough for 88 keys and not more.
Four accessible bays on the hard-paved apron beside the entrance, 15 m from the doors, on a step-free route to reception and to every pavilion. The accessibility statement sets out the surfaces, the gradients and the door widths in detail.
The Lagoa Villa parks two cars inside its own wall, on the lagoon side.
Post, deliveries and anything to do with a stay go to the estate: Herdade de Dunara, Estrada Melides–Carvalhal, 7570 Melides, Grândola, Portugal. Couriers reach the gate; the lodge signs for guests in residence and holds parcels at reception.
Formal notices to the company — contractual, legal or regulatory — go to the registered office: CLICK-MART LIMITED, 124 Islwyn Road, Cross Keys, Newport, Wales, NP11 7QJ, United Kingdom. Company number 14111937, D-U-N-S 228941507, incorporated in England & Wales on 17 May 2022.
The same company developed the estate and operates the resort, which is why both addresses are published side by side rather than one of them being kept for the small print.
The inbox is read between 08:00 and 20:00, Western European Time, seven days a week. A reply normally goes out the same day and always inside one working day.
An enquiry about a date inside the next 72 hours is answered first, ahead of the queue, because that is the one where waiting costs you something.
Reservations hold a rate in writing for 72 hours from the moment they send it. After that the band rate applies again, and they will say so in the same message rather than let it lapse quietly.

If you already know your dates
The stay planner prices them against the published calendar, itemises the estate charge and the tax, and sends the breakdown with your enquiry.
